Where to start, after following the instructions sent to us by dawn (I recommend anyone planning on staying here prints off the directions like Dawn says) we found our way to paradise, the valley slopes towering above, it hits you straight away! We met Dawn at the gate and parked the car up. First though, we had to meet up to the expectations of the top dog in town, Jasper. After getting a good sniff he allowed us into his domain. Dawn , followed by jasper, led us to our place of rest for the next couple of days. Hidden away on the valley slopes the cabin soon revealed itself to us. Wow, what a place, so peaceful and wholesome, everything you required for the stay was there, though I must say you don’t feel like doing a lot when you get yourself settled in, apart from adding a couple of logs onto the fire every now and then and of course opening the door to greet Jasper if he felt like joining us, we were relaxing in the long lost peace and tranquility we needed, so hard to find in the modern day! The night sky was untouched by the background light of big cities, with the trees blowing slightly from time to time and the sound of the wood burner crackling inside, wouldn’t change anything about the gaff, the whole experience was spot on. The hosts, Dawn and Tony where everything you could want. They were there if we ever needed anything, like when we needed lemon juice for a fruit salad and they kindly gave us some, but they never bothered you, unless they were helping us. It was a pleasure to stay at the cabin and have such good company throughout the stay, we cant wait to get back there. Thank you again for the whole experience even better. Hope all is well, tell Jasper we asked about him, see you soon guys x
